Hey all have a quick question. Have a 1968 cj-5 i am in the middle of a frame up resto on and i am stumped as how to attach the transfer case shifter. Originally she had a 3 spd and a single stick setup, now has a t18 in place but i am stumped as how to hookup the shifter on the dana 18 transfer case as prior owner pulled it off. Drover her for three years in eastern Wa with 2wd only, never even got stuck in the winters. Was kinda lazy and never hooked it up, now that i have it apart well.

Didnt know if i needed to get a double stick setup off the 4cyl jeeps or i was thinking to just mock up a bracket with my welder. Ideas?

    Thanks
    Aaron

A twin stick set up will give more options like the potential for 2 wheel low. You can make a bracket though that comes off the top of the trans for the shifter or go off the bellhousing bolts to use your single stick shifter.
