So I've done some searches here and elsewhere and found some really excellent instructions on exactly how to shorten a driveshaft...with one glaring omission...nobody really explains if the driveshaft should be fit when the slip is half-way out, most of the way out, most of the way in, etc.

I'm assuming that when the full weight of the jeep is on the suspension then I would want to have the slip approximately 1/2 way to full extension...thereby giving me room for suspension droop or compression.

    What say you?

Depending on your setup leafs tend to droop more than compress, so I set mine up about an inch and a half from bottoming out.
