I've lookd at several of the archived links here and I have found several way to mount. And wondering what some of the differencences are.

The first one I've come accross is the the http://www.alternatorparts.com the A-200. Does anyone here use this? Have any pics to share, like/dislikes.

The second one I come across is the McRuff bracket with some good pics here. anyone know where you can buy on? how much??? etc?

The last one I come across is the http://www.willysworks.com but their link to the pic of it is dead. Alot of ppl here say that's where thy got theirs just curious what it looks like compared the the previous links above.

Getting ready to pull the trigger and just looking for some opinions as I can't figure out why my genny isn't charging and i have a spare 10SI alt.

    Thanks,

I have the A-200, it s been on there for ~7 years with no issues. Not the prettiest thing, but it works well and doesn't require any welding. The same site has the wider pulley to use the same belt as with the stock generator.

shows both the universal mount and the Willy's works one. The universal mount works well if you're patient while adjusting the bracket.

I talked with the folks at Willys Works a few weeks ago, and they said they had some of their mounts in stock.

As for the generator not charging....about 1/2 way down the page is a link to some old time generator and regulator troubleshooting instructions.
