My Jeep has a trans brake on it but I do not have a clue how it is attached or what does what with it.

I do know that there is a drum style brake inside it, and when you apply the lever on the bottom the drive shafts stop moving.

Any help on this wold be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

what do you want to know Todd?........when you pull the brake handle it pulls on a lever that engages the brake shoes to the drum, pretty simple operation

under the dash do you have a handle that pulls out?
all jeeps 1971 and older have this system, it is your parking brake
do not feel bad, a lot of guys getting their first jeep are amazed at it, but it was a simple way to do things that worked back then
SO, look btween the steering wheel and the side of the jeep for a handle, if it is not there then the system may have been abandoned by a previous owner
    hope this helps

mine looks like a parking brake handle that sticks out from under the left side of the dash.
    pull to engage
twist and push in to disengage.
