Bumper Update: New Cooler Rack

After finishing my bumper, I finally got time to start on my cooler rack. I told everyone I would share when finished. Still working on a way to add a gas and water can. Here's what I came up with..



The carriage bolts are temporary, until I get to the hardware store to pick up some hex bolts.

Still need to line it. Next project, front bumper.

Any jerry can I deas would be appreciated. Does anyone know if you can mount one sideways? I was thinking that would work below the rack.

 

I actually don't have one at this point, but I was thinking that I could mount It at an angle off the tubing that goes from the cooler rack to the bumper. It's a little harder with a DJ, because the rear isn't as stout without the tailgate. It worries me to hang too much weight from it. The rack feels pretty sturdy right now, but I guess I'll just have to wait till there's the weight of a case of cold ones and ice on it. I'll definitely have to add some bracing If I go with the spare.
