Crazy Serial #

    I looked up and down my frame today after hitting it with wire wheel #6 and the only number I could find did not match my vin or engine.


    Any help on this one???


    I used the search function but could not figure it out still.

    IIRC, the s/n would be on the TOP of the frame rail. I've found several numbers stamped in the frame of my '56, including on the face of the front bumper. I assumed part #'s, bin #, or a lot # of the component. The pic you posted is not a serial #.

    That's not a SN, hence the reason it doesn't match. :D
