    (Note: I have a 71 Jeep with a 225 v6.)
Hi. Im in the process of doing my timing gear and I went ahead and pulled off my intake manifold since I noticed a small oil leak. I was looking in the valley and notice that two of my pushrods were warped a little. I was just messing around and spinning the pushrods while I was inspecting the valley. I wondering what I should do?
Should I remove all the pushrods and check them while I there. If so is there anything I should know when removing the rockers? Anyone know the torque specs on them?
Is there a way to check the lifters? Or should I just go ahead and replace the liftes while I am there? Pushrods are $7.00 a piece and lifters are $6.00 a piece. Would I be better served to buy a whole cam kit if they are available? Thanks for the help.

There is no adjustment on the rockers---just unbolt the rocker shaft--replace the push rods and bolt it back on. There is quite a bit more involved to replace the cam.

If the pushrods are bent, you need to replace them. No problem with just replacing the bent ones.

I'd leave the lifters in place, as long as they are quiet. Don't replace the cam unless you need to. Let sleeping dogs lie.
