    Looks like I have the wrong one? Or am I just losing it, cause for the life of me I can not figure out where the grommet goes.

    Doesn't it go through the hole in the distributor body where you currently have your ignition points wiring going through?

    What about the grommet though? Its kinda like a square peg in a round hole

    Yeah, mine was the same way. The square grommet went in with a little extra ooomph and a pair of needle nose pliers, but it works. My trouble was that the round metal piece wouldn't fit my IAD distributor. Had to order a couple of times before I got the right one.

    ahhh, so it does fit in the round hole, but it just needs some aggitation...thanks

    it kinda fits.
    i was a tuggin and a yankin
    and pulled it all the way through.
    then i hadda stuff it back through and try it all over again.....:D
