stock windshield channel

    I'm looking to purchase a bikini top for my 72 Cj5 and everywhere lists that the top uses the stock windshield channel. Can someone show me in a picture what a stock windshield channel looks like? My jeep had no top when I purchased it and has no visible "channel" on the windshield frame. Any help would be great.

    Here is picture of the one on my 1970 model. Sorry for the odd picture, but it's all I have online. Channel is across the top of the windshield, just below the hardtop.

    so this thing is welded on? What options would i have in terms of bikini top seeing as how I don't have a windshield channel? Would buying one for a 76+ jeep with the screw on channel work?

    I would think a 76 and on should work.

    a 76 and up has a narrower windshield than the intermediates.
