Fuel Pump Return

    I'm a little forgetfull I guess. Just got through puttin' in my front drive shaft after my clutch install. Looked up and seen my fuel pump still with the return blocked off. Can a fuel pump without a return going back to the tank cause carb problems? On start up it runs kinda rich and I get a lot of black smoke for a few seconds. Anybody got any ideas?

    Duke: No it should not cause any problems. But, why is it blocked. Does your tank have the return line plumbed in? If so, just hook it up.
