I'm working on a '75 project with a tub that is beyond even thinking about saving. There havn't been many solid intermediate tubs in the northeast but I found an unrusted early tub for sale.

What details and welding do I have to do on an early ('57) to make it close to looking like a '75?

Pedals - fill floor holes and hang and drill for hanging pedals
Vent on cowl - and heater? not sure
Fuel tank inlet on rear and fill under seat hole.
    Swap dash.
Other firewall holes shouldn't be a problem, fill and drill
    Side lights
Fill fake battery box hole on cowl
Floor center in 75 is spot welded so the bolt in 57 will work. the 75 is a 4-spd so the sheetmetal can be swapped over ok.

    What else?

I have a early cj6 tub that someone cut down to a 5 on my 73. It fits well but PO hacket the clutch linkage rod. I would have done it a bit different. E- brake will have to be ran also. The early tub has a different JEEP on the side. Also it is much higher on the panel. If that matters.
