I've picked up a motor for the swap into the Jeepster. I bought it out of a '79 T/A. I have no clue what car it was originally in.

The drivers side manifold looks like it will clear the steering just fine. The pass manifold extends ~4" behind the block. I'm sure that it won't work in the Jeepster without a body lift or firewall mods. Anyone know of a manifold with the drop in the same location as the 225 manifold?

I'll have to look at my passenger side manifold but I had no problem with mine. OTOH my engine came out of a 68 Gladiator so the manifold may be different. In the mean time I'll see if I have a picture of the engine before I dropped it in.

I had no problems using stock manafolds on my CJ6.
The engine is a 1975 Buick, do not know what car it cam out of.
I did use novac moter mounts.

Here are a couple of pictures.

Had to run out and take a picture. My manifold is slightly different only in that it has a heat riser valve on it. I originally had this in a Jeepster that had the body sitting pretty much on the frame due to rusted body supports/squashed split rubbers and had no problem.

Many thanks for the pics. Andrew, your manifolds look identical to mine. PackRat's is very similar. So, between the two I think the ones I have will work. I guess I'll know for sure when I shove the motor in for a test fit.
