Speedometer Cable Hookup

    Guys I know this should be easy, but where does the speedometer cable hook up to the dana 18 t case. I have never had a speedometer or cable to hook up so i am asking this wonderful wealth of knowledge! Pictures of actual t cases and or exploded diagrams would be great! Thanks!

    refer to illustration
    this is the rear output housing of the D18 transfer case
    reference number 3.590-2 in the diagram is a threaded adapter
    it holds the driven gear into the housing as well as allowing the threaded end of the cable housing to attatch. The square drive end of the cable core inserts into the square drive end of the driven gear to mate properly. The large threaded nut of the cable then screws onto this adapter.
