It's just laminated safety glass. Should be able to get one cut at most local glass shops.

You can go to nearly any glass shop. They will cut one out of flat glass. (it won't be regular glass, it will be laminated) Bring your old one for a template if it is in good enough shape to bring there. Do not use plexiglass. It has no protection and will soon be hazy if you use wipers or even regularly get mud on it. Real glass will not cost a lot more than the plexi anyway.

Be sure to get a new gasket, as putting glass into an old seal is a really good way to break a new piece of glass.

they said it all. if for any reason I am taking a old glass out, and the seal is hard. i use my razorknife and cut the old seal out first. if its hard it isint gonna seal anyway, and you need a new one, and as you found out they are good for breaking a glass

Just commented on the intermediate board that a local glass guy replaced and installed (on site) glass & gasket on my CJ for $146.
