Alright I've been looking for a hardtop for my '69 for a couple months there is one near me. Listing just says "cj5 fiberglass hardtop and doors $200." So it is most likely for a late cj5 so now I just need clarification on if I buy this top all I will need to change on my jeep would be a late model windsheild frame? Am I right?

Not necessarily. The door openings changed in '77. There are fiberglass tops available for early and intermediate CJ's. You need to know what year this top was made to fit. If it's later than '77 pass on it. If it fits, that's a really good price. If it's all there.

Only in relation to the w/s frame. With a later frame, yes you can run a later top on an early '5! Hinges, if missing, usually are scarce.

My impression is that there are fewer late-model ('76 and later) CJ-5 steel cabs out there than cabs for early-intermediate Jeeps. If it's a fiberglass top, it's more likely for a late CJ-5. Just generally ... not absolutely. There were late steel cabs made and I presume there were some early-intermediate fiberglass tops made. AFAIK Jeep never supplied a 'glass top for the CJ-5 - any existing are third-party aftermarket tops, like the Acme tops.

As mentioned, the difference between early-intermediate and late is in the windshield frame shape and angle. This topic has been covered extensively in previous posts. A late windshield can be installed (to fit the late tops), but will require some adapting.

Just to confirm. There were Early/Intermediate fiberglass tops made. I had one, like a fool I sold it. Young and stupid. Ah well.
