I have just been thinking of making my own back seat frame for my M38 body kit. I was planning on some bestop front seats but was thinking that I might just make a back seat that is similar to the original back seat frame. http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.aspx?jeep-sid=447&plID=1111&partID=5091# . The front seat frames look like they would be reasonably easy to make as well as long as you have a tubing bender. I have access to a JD2 tubing bender that I was going to make the seat frame from. I was hoping to be able to find some material to match the bestop seats that I was going to use up front.

The PO on my '59 made a rear seat out of EMT tubing. I won't be able to get a photo of it until later (maybe not until the weekend) but can do so then if it would be helpful.

I am looking at making a front passanger seat frame for my 64 CJ5. My cousin is going to help and he has a 47 CJ2A and was going to use his front seat as a "pattern" is his "pattern" going to work or are their to major of differences for his seat not to work in my ride, and if so what is the difference? Thanks!
