Looks like you cannot get the correct ones the earlier years but the 76-83 style will work.

From what I have found out is the later panels has the gas filler hole indentation but not the rear indentation over the wheels well.

So.... Newer panels will fit the early 5's........ They just are not correct.

    Correct everyone?

That's the only issue as far as I can tell. All the panels seem to have the 76+ Jeep embossing on the side panel.

FWIW, I have purchased several items from Classic and the quality is very good. I recently put on the lower 4" repair panel on both sides. I also did the riser between front and rear and I've purchased, but not put on, the valence brackets. No issues with any of the parts. If he doesn't have it in stock already it might take awhile for them to fab it and ship it. I waited about 10 days for the riser, but it was worth it.

Is Jeep Panels Plus completely out of the game now? Last I'd heard, they'd slid off the 'web and were only available by phone. Still true? I need a rear floor panel.

Hey Ron, found this on the G: "Hello everyone,Stephen from Jeepanels Im putting a message here to fill folks in on the status of my dad,Sheldon.a year ago he was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cance,Since then he's undergone chemotherapy and radiation treatments But at best it's only slowed the cancer's progression, surgery is not an option. My family has received much encouragement from the jeep community and it's been greatly appreciated. This has thrown a monkey wrench into the works at the shop,And as a result too many orders have gone out long past what is acceptable for turn around time.We know this has been frustrating and maddening and rightly so,We are finally getting back up to speed And getting things ironed out.We appreciate the patience of everyone. We're still kicking and will be for some time." All above in quotes are from the OP on the Gee. Phone is the best contact. As far as aftermarket panels, I WOULD NOT buy any offshore made full side replacement panel for my JEEP. Metal gauge is wrong, primer is junk, they don't fit, and already have no primer/bare metal/RUST in any place where there are braces or two panels overlapped. Spot welds are junk, and alot of the side panels are made to be "slip on", made to be put OVER the existing problem you're trying to cure. I could go on forever, but you get my point.
