    Hey all,

I'm looking for some ideas on mounting accessory lights. Currently I just have my headlights and two 55w(?) floods mounted on either side of my winch. I love the placement and looks those offer, but i'd like more light. here's my dilemma/requirements:

    Want to retain windshield fold-down-ability.
Minimum amount of adjustments/moving/removal of lights in order to put on my hardtop.
Trying to stay away from mounting on the roll bar (because the glare it creates is super, DUPER annoying).
    Can't look f*cking stupid.

Aside from the obvious option of switching out the 55w lights for ~100w ones of comparable shape and size, what other mounting ideas can we come up with? i tried searching but either fail at it or didn't find another thread asking the same thing.

    thanks!

I fabbed up my own "blackout driving light" guards and mounted 5" off-road lights on either side of the hood. I like it for the military look I'm trying to keep on my A1, may not be your cup of tea... Here's my pic:

I typically don't like lights (KC style) mounted on the fenders....But that works!

Thanks for the compliments. I am looking forward to driving it for the first time in 2 years, and I only had maybe 10 miles on it before I took it off. Sorry to hijack, back to the regular program.

I don't particularly like fender lights usually, but I thought making them look more like blackout driving lights helped with the theme. And I am quite pleased with how they came out.
