Spare tire

    I just bought a 1971 Jeepster and was wondering where the factory mounted the spare tire? Mine is just laying on the floor in the back. Does anyone have pics of how it was mounted?

    The spares were just mount flat in the back, held down with a large J-bolt and flat plate.
    If you look you should see 2 bolts in the floor that held the J bolt.
    Will see if I cane get picture.
