My valve covers have stacks instead of the typical oil fill setup. Does anyone know what application these were used on? They appear to be factory installed for what ever this motor came out of.

Are they welded on? I've never seen that. It looks cool though! :D
Gotta make adding oil without a funnel easier.

I've seen it as an add on - but usually only on the one side.

Yep they're welded on. I haven't seen them in any of the pics on here. I have seen them on other engines that were twist in or screw in.
It is easier to pour in the oil, no mess! I was just curious if it was a marine app. or something like that.

I've seen that done to reduce the oil getting splashed into the caps and causing drips. Mostly seen it done on hi pro engines or stock cars. Added on is my vote.
