Engine Serial Number

    Is there a way I can tell if the engine in my 56 CJ5 is original or not? I found a serial number on the block below the carb. It is 800395. There's no S/N on the water pump boss like the Sticky VIN thread above says it should be. Has anybody come across this on their jeep?

    Also is this blue the correct color for the engine? It's the F134.
