You guys know of a source for the original looking wiper motors? I want the cylinder type motors, not those universal block types. I have one of each now, and am looking for the original look. I tried the "www.jeepdoc.com" site, but the server is down. I will try that again later, but thought you guys knew of another site. Thanks in advance. Tony

If you mean twin top-mount, you can get them through marine (boating) supply stores. Do a search on google for AFI and WIPER.

A buddy gave me a windsheild wiper motor of of a 1976 cj5. 1976 the motor mounts on the inside instead of the outside. I mounted the motor on the outside. The mounting bracket on the motor end wouldn't line up with the windsheild frame mounting hole. I drilled a new hole and used a sheet metal srew to secure it. My windsheild frame needs replaced so I wasn't worried about drilling holes in it.
I wired it up and I now have wipers. They seem to work fine.

My 71 wiper motor was replaced with one from a mid 70's motor and it worked fine also.
