    Just picked up a 1965 :v6:CJ5 PO butchered the tub. I have the frame and complete drive line. frame has been butchered also no idea what he was planning, PO did a spring over axle job welds look like a mud-dobbers nest. any way the engine, T90 trans & transfer in good shape the V6 has headman headers. It looks like I have all the parts except the tub, now to the question.
    I have a 1960 CJ5, can one of you experts or been there before guys give me some heads up as to what pit falls and what to watch out for things. like will the steering shaft be in the way of the headers, break peddle will hit bell housing when pushed fully to floor?
    I found a web page { http://www.film.queensu.ca/CJ3B/EngineSwap.html }
    that explains a CJ-3B Engine conversion but not ever doing this before I have no Idea if this guy is right on or lost like last years Easter egg. Useing the CJ3B as a just get an idea as what to expect.

    there's a myriad of things to take into consideration with any motor swap.....motor mounts/placement, drive shaft lengths, trans choices etc etc erc
    There is a lot of info on the V6 swap on this site, spend some time searching through these threads as well as the Tech section and you'll learn a ton. When you have specific questions on how to post them up.
    I spent many nights reading peoples build threads learning how folks went about there fabrication before I decided to swap my motor.
    Good luck, Jim S.

    Yeah he didn't like that suggestion when I offered it. I've been searching a few different keywords for him but end up reading all the posts I find....:)
    It never ceases to amaze me how much info is kept here...
