Can someone out there verify the dimension between the front of the factory bumper and the front face of the grille (Dimension 'A' in image below)?

I'm assuming that the rear face of the tub should be flush with the face of the rear crossmember, so if someone could also verify that dimension it should be a good check for what dimension 'A' should be.

I'm also assuming that the centerline of the body tub lines up with the centerline between the frame rails.

Reason I'm asking is that I'm working to correct the PO's shoddy fitment of the fiberglass tub on my '75 CJ5.

    Thanks,

The front grill mounts to that dropped lower hole in that front plate so the position of the grill is already set not much adjustment from that point.

One my fiberglass body the grill does not mount the way the factory one does, hence my need for a dimension.

Sorry about that I have never fooled with a fiberglass set up. The measurement is 9" on my 74. HTH

That's cool. How about at the rear, is the body flush with the face of the crossmember?

What does HTH mean? Hole-to-Hole? If so, do you mean 9" between the dropped lower hole for the grille mount and the hole for the front bumper mounting bolt?

I thought that by including a picture of the measurement I was looking for that it would help avoid confusion...aparently not :?

To install my glass body on my 75, I did the following:

-Installed tub flush w/ rear crossmember, and the same distance (left to right) from centerline.

-Installed grill. Installed struts from grill to tub.

    - Installed hood.

-Installed FENDERS. I marked the holes by sliding the fender up until it nearly contacted the bottom lip of the hood.

-Sanded the bottom lip off the tub to make it even with the bottom line of the fenders.
