Lubricant for wipers?

    Are you suppose to lubricate or oil the wipers motor at all?

    No as they are lubricated with grease from the factory. However, with time and water intrusion the grease can get old and hard and cause the operation to not be the best. Before I reinstall any wiper motor on my Jeeps I pull them apart and clean and re-lube them. I use Lubriplate as it is less affected by temperature than many other greases. Has worked well for me for years.
