I might have a line on a fiberglass hardtop, but it has no side windows. Anyone have any idea what a glass shop might charge to replace them? It will need the gaskets also.

Make sure you can get the gaskets. I am trying to revive a truck topper and the company is gone. I can't get rubber to fit.

I also have a vented windshield for a CJ6. I talked to the dude that does all my glass. He said it was no issue with that. And fairly inexpensive to get it done.

A windshield will be laminated glass. Side windows are usually tempered safety glass. BIG difference!

Tempered glass has to be heat treated, and cannot be "cut" to size afterwards. Laminated is relatively easy to cut and shape.

I was quoted over $400 by a glass shop to replace a tempered rear hatch window.... Instead I tracked down the original manufacturer of the hard top, called the factory, and they sent me the glass for all of $18.

Another option would be to consider polycarbonate or Lexan. Or maybe use laminated? But there are safety and legal issues.

Many kinds of gasket are available by the foot.

    Good luck.

I'm pretty sure it's an ACME top, which I think is out of business. If I can get the sides for $40 that would be great. Any reason laminated safety glass wouldn't work (or be legal) for the sides?

Acme may not have been the manufacturer, or their windows may have been subbed out. In my case the actual factory that produced the window assemblies helped me with the right glass from their leftover inventory. I found their tag on a window frame.

My 1970 Meyers top on a CJ6 all of the windows are just laminted glass. When I put in the quarter windows said no problem as long as iI was not replacing tempered glass',
Cost for 3 pieces of glass was about $100.00 2 were aprox 12 x 16 and one was 16 x 32 all with rounded corners.

I would not use plexiglass because it scratches to eazy,

Just a suggestion on glass work.We have a shop in our town that does about 95% of the street rods and custom cars.they are indepentant shop that has templates for real old stuff and can deal with laminated or tempered glass.check with guys around were you are to see who they use. Most of the chain glass shops don't have a clue.when you find the right shop-tell your friends.Remember the hotrodders and restoration guys are dealing with the same things that you are.
