YJ lock right in a CJ?

    I should get the 74 up an running in the next few days, but I have a spline count question. I have an old JY Dana 30 lock right from years ago. Will this fit in my Narrow track 30? I wasn;t sure of spline counts on the older axles.

    Figured I'd toss it in while I was changing fluids.

    It should. YJ D30 and your CJ D30 use the same diff case and have the same axcle spline count.

    Yj's are high pinion, but I dont think that matters for the locker.
