How much clearance should there be between the driveshaft and bellhousing near the starter when sitting flat and level? I can see that mine has made contact at some time. The jeep had a plow so it may have been the weight.

With '66 V6 stock springs how much clearance should there be between the bump stop and the top of the axle housing. Maybe its low riding.

I had the same problem come to find out the spring packs in the front were shot from the weight of the plow so I had to replace then

My front driveshaft will hit the bell housing occasionally under extreme articulation. When I lifted it I used the new bump stops provided.

Yep, I had the same thing. New springs fixed it.

Me 3 or 4 or 5. Unfortunately, I only found out after I'd towed my jeep to the trail. :( A Procomp 3" lift fixed it right up fairly reasonably.
