After wire brushing my transmission and transfer case I found some numbers and thought maybe some of you guys could assist me in being sure what kind of transmission I have. Here are the numbers I have found and locations...

    Transmission...
    On shifter cover (top)
    07-097-90
    on passenger side of transmission
    13-065-901
    W.G. Div.

    Transfer Case...
On rear of case over output
    7
    C18-19-44
On metal tag bolted to rear of transfer case.
    300 596 97
    5351087

Oh almost forgot transmission is a three speed.

    Year/Model?

W G Div is Warner Gear, a division of Borg-Warner.

    535 1087 is a Jeep PN, but I don't have a listing.

It will be a T-15 and Dana 20, unless the engine has been swapped in. Is there an "H" in your VIN? The side of the transmission should read 13-07 or T15. It's definitely a Dana 20 transfer case, but my books don't go back that far.

Yep, side of transfer case does have something like 13-07 on it, I could barely make it out before, but now I see it again you are right. The engine has never been swapped, so you are most likely right T-15 and Dana 20. Thanks timgr!
