spring swap

    i have a 70 cj5,and was given a st of 76 springs.anybody know the distance between the spring perches,fr and back?fr springs are eye to eye 42",rear are 43 1/2.

    In addition to the length differences, 76 and up springs are also wider, so you'll have to chance spring mounts, axle pads and shackles as well.

    i got the pads with them,and am thinkin of cutting the mnts in half and adding an inch to bring them to 3 in wide.
