1975 CJ5 Console

    How much trouble (customization) would it take to put one of these in my '75 CJ5 with factory bucket seats and brackets?

    I see a bunch of jeeps online with these in intermediates. Just curious to see if anyone has tried it.

    Quadratec and Whitney both offer a direct bolt-in - around $160 or so I think - pre-'76 and post-76 models need a different one.

    I put in a tuffy console in my 75. I made a flat panel out of steel that extends the tool box height out tu under the drivers seat and welded it to the floor. Then mounted the console to it. Worked like a bandit.

    Get your self a tool box or ammo can and bolt it down between the seats.
