I had adjusted my brakes to get my half inch of play back in my pedal and my brakes were good for a day then i lost all brakes completely. I figure i need to bleed my brakes and add fluid to the master cylinder. The only problem im having is getting the cap nut off the top of the cylinder. i can not get a wrench flat onto it to turn it. Is there an easier way to fill the cylinder or something else to use? thanks

I only know of two ways -
    1. a long (or multiple) extensions, and u-joint and a socket
    -or-
    2. remove the 4 bolts on the little access cover in the floor boards and then a box end wrench will usually do it.

    Good luck,

    3. i cut a bigger hole in the floor.

    4. might be able to use a 3/8" drive shallow well socket with a fine tooth ratchet.
