Not sure if my terminology is, correct but I have a few questions....
What is the distance between the front set of leaf springs and the rubber "bump stops" attached to the bracket below the motor mounts. Hope that make some sense. I my try and get some photos if necessary.
Also, when removing the fuel tank from frame seems front/long bolt holding tank had a spacer of some sort originally, previous owner had replaced the original bolt and spacer and used a piece of galvanized pipe. What is proper bolt/spacer setup.
Lastly, I am looking to purchase a wiring harness for frame. Any recommendations? 73 CJ5 with AMC 304.

    Thanks for any help.

Axle snubs/bump stops are available from a lot of places. 4 wheel drive, Quadratech, etc. May not be for your year, but should be able to make one work. There are universal ones if you don't find what you need. Seems like they were about 2" tall. Sorry, 1 3/8", $4 each. http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.aspx?partID=12207

Wire harness, here you go. May find it cheaper elsewhere.

Fuel tank, I don't remember how it was. I had an aftermarket 24 gallon on mine, direct bolt to the frame.

My factory tank had no spacers and washers.it had a bracket that attached to the front of the tank and z shaped ones in the rear. No spacers I recall...

I am using a "E-Z" harness. BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT! I have not used a "painless" harness but from what I have read. It is far from painless, the e-z harness is not plug and play but if you can problem solve (had to be a jeeper if you can't) and take you time, it was well worth the investment. I am not sure on today's prices but when I bought mine it was $140 shipped from fl to ia. As I said before BEST MONEY EVER SPENT!
