Shakedown run

    R)I took it out for the first time yesterday and last nite to ocaitilla wells. Yes it was a little WARM but we started our first run about 5pm and our second run after dark. We finished a.m. sometime...:beer::beer::beer:not sure what time:) All went well. Everything worked GREAT.

    LOL, I brought the camera but I left the CARD in the COMPUTER.....

    Next time there will be pics... My BAD. IT was a blast. Its been over TEN years sice I drove it... I took my girlfriend that I thought would get the S@@T scared out of her but she had a GOOD time too.

    Sounds awesome. My jeep has been undergoing restoration for 4 years now....ugh! Maybe by next spring it'll be ready. I can't even imagine 10 years!

    Yep thats a long time to sit with NO MOTOR or TRANS.. It wasnt good for it either. Brakes and seals on the axles were bad and the wireing on front clip had to have connections cleaned up.

    4.3 chevy TBI
    SM 420
    D300
    20 locked 4.10
    30 lincoln (detroit needs installed) 4.10
    Spring over
    Installed power brakes
    1" body mounts
    WOODS driveshafs
    NEW brakes
    NEW rear axle seals and bearings
    NEW stereo
    Installed CB
    NEW exhaust (flowmaster muffler)
    Hella headlights with 100w highbeams.

    It took 7 weeks from the day I purchased the S10 as a donor to where you see it now.
