Fuel tank install

    Anyone have pictures of a 70-76 fuel tank installed in a earlier jeep my question is how are the rear shackles mine are almost hitting

    Thanks for that but what my problem is is that my rear schackles hit the tank and will make it really hard to bolt up but his tank looked like his shackles were further back

    The tank in my 71 has strategically placed dents in the corners to be able to change the springbolts w/o dropping the tank.

    I just put a dent in the tank. Shackle position would be the same as you. Also to install the tank I remove the nut on the shackle bolt and tap the bolt flush.

    I realized my problem i changed to the newer springs(wider) so thats why im so close
