F134 Water Pump Rebuild

    Has anyone ever tried to rebuild the water pump on a F134 engine? I have seen that some of the parts suppliers sell a rebuild kit. I was wondering if a press is needed to get the pump apart, or if it will come apart with the basic garage tools like a gear puller, big hammer, even bigger hammer, etc.

    who needs a press i use a bottle jack and the crossmember of my jeep :)

    I went ahead and bought a new one, but just for the heck of it I tried taking my old one apart. It broke long before it even thought about coming apart.
