Rough road sputtering

    Took her out for a test run on the local forest road.
    Ran fine so tried some different tests. 2wheel 4 wheel ect.

    When in low range and running a little higher rpm through the pot holes.
    It starts sputtering and no power if I push the clutch and gun it a bit it cleans up and runs good again.

    Fuel filter glass is good seems to run fine the rest of the time.
    Only n the potholes.

    Is that the float?
    never seen a rig that sensitive to bumps.

    its a rebuilt 2g on my 225

    Would it be like being under load in low gear like that.

    Float level too high? That'd do it....

    i had the same problem, i changed from the disc type inlet needle to the bullet shaped one and it cured it.
