    I just got a replacement upper steering column bearing from Crown Automotive via Morris 4x4 products, and it is even rougher than the 30-year-old original in my '75 CJ5. has anyone else bought one of these parts from Crown and had any issues?

    It feels like the bearing race is full of grit, rather than bearings and grease!
