with all due respect, what a bunch of bull
I put over 40,000 miles on my F4, and who knows what it had on it before we got it.
I drove the snot out of it pulling the Bantam to Colorado and back at least twice with the F4, 5:38s and an overdrive; it runs best at higher RPMs.
And when I was ready to put the V6 in, I couldn't blow the F4 up at the dunes when I tried...and tried...and tried.
take the darn thing out and drive it, that's what they were made for.
forget the guys wearing white lab coats and what they say..

IT is at 4000 RPMs for 10 hours, with a heavy load on it! that is incredibility good by itself, considering how strained the engine is spinning that fast! They are made to last!

also youve got to consider those where the prototype motors to the l head. Im pretty sure they did change things by the time they went into production. And those are by military specs so much tighter tolerances id imagine
