Where to find a roll bar?

I searched the forum and the web and I've only found a couple suppliers of roll bars. I have been against putting a bar in my 60 cj5, but now with two young daughters I want to. Does anyone have one lying around? (close to Western NY). Or does anyone have any good sources for aftermarket? I found one by a company called "extreme gear". It looks good but is pretty expensive. I just want a little more safety, a place to mount 3pt seat belts and something to hold my bikini top at the right angle...thanks for any suggestions....

That rock hard bar is the one i looked at..i like it's looks....but not the price at this point...are they that much stronger than the older styles i wonder?

 

Nothing beats actually tying the roll bar into the frame. This will give you about as musch protection as you will bet in an open air vehicle. With this you should be able to go to a local fab shop and they can bend the tubing and fabricate a custom fit cage to your vehicle. I would suggest a 6 point tie in sytem if you are going to get it fabricated from scratch. Kentrol has a tie in system part # 45575FK available if you find a roll cage already assymbled.

I also use Craigslist.com to look for pats in my local area. This site allows you to search in your local region. There alsways seems to be old jeep stuff for sale no matter where you go.
