BDS springs?

    Hey guys, I've got a chance to buy some used 4 inch lift BDS springs for $250.00. Are these springs any good or should I pass? Thanks

    BDS are good springs, but I'd hesitate to buy used unless you know the owner well. Check Bob Supplee ph# 405-923-5337 for prices on new springs, may be worth it

    The 2.5" lift BDS springs are well received at this site. My original Renegade 2 springs made for a rough ride, which I always expected with an early CJ. I bought a new 2.5" lift set with BDS shocks, installed them and have a much better riding and handling CJ than I ever thought possible! The difference was significant, and in a good way. I don't think you'll regret buying a new 2.5" set. Replace your frame bushings at the same time. I would be concerned that a 4" lift might create a harsh ride. Try to find more info from someone who already has the BDS 4" lift, if you really want that.
