Well i got my vetter master cylinder to install in the CJ. I was thinknig that the MC would be for dual disc brakes, but it is disk front and drum rear. What is so special about this MC to use it for dual disc brakes?? It is kind of odd the way the MC is setup. The front outlet is front and on the bottom of the cylinder and the rear outlet is on the side. There is also a bleed screw on the side, i think that is kind of odd since i have never seen a bleed screw on an MC before. Does anyone have pictures of thier 68 MC setup?? I would like to see what the end modification looks like.

it is a 1968 vetter. currently i am running a 1978 CJ7 MC with disc front and drum rear, it works OK, i am going to the vetter because i heard it works pretty good. And fortuantely my MC is actually leaking now so i needed to repalce it anyway, and a few new steel lines also.

Do you have through the floor pedals or firewall pedals?? As for firewall pedals it will fit, and you will have room for a clutch MC if you go hydrolic clutch. If you have the through floor epdals i do not think it will fit without some fabbing

The MC really doenst look all that differnt than say a jeep MC (later jeep) i guess they are readily available at the stores, mine was $35 with the extra $10 core charge. I would think they were rare. But you can probably have them pull it from the shelf at the local place.

Now dont beat yourself up.... i am prone to reading things too fast and not thinking ahead. Me stupid also :) :)

    Cheers!!!
