I'm looking for a picture of the front body tub mount on a 73 cj5 if available. I tried searching this site for"front body mount", but came up empty. I thought I saw one posted here a while ago. I'm looking for the rubber biscuit and bolt setup.
    Thanks for any help.

I guess I should try another approach to this question. What I'm looking for is information about the mount and if it's left loose to allow for frame flex? The reason I ask is that I noticed on the mount pictures on the previous post by roxj for a cj6, that it shows a gap between the mount bushings. I just wondered if this also is true for a 73 CJ5? :?
    Thanks

There should be about a 1/2" to 3/4" gap between the frame and the bottom of the grille panel.

    Thanks Tim,
But I should have been more specific. I meant the front body tub mount. Is that mount snugged down the same as the rest?:coffee:

All the mounts are snugged down. The outboard front mount on a '75 is very thick, allowing more squish. Not sure about '73, but I think it's basically the same (some different PNs though).

The thick mount might shrink with time, leaving a gap ... it wouldn't hurt to shim it up with a section of car tire or such, to fill the gap. If you were so inclined. :coffee:
