front turn signal question

    Hi first time I have posted on here. I am doing a rebuild of a 74 cj5 and found that the front turn signal housings are rusted out. I seem to be having trouble finding replacements. In a pinch could I use cj7 turn signal assemblies. Thanks for any info.

    I used surface mounted LEDs on mine. Quiet a bit brighter than stock.
