cj5 wheel house support

    I am installing new rear fenders. My passenger side has a support 9" forward from the rear, my drivers does not. Is that correct? The one on the passenger side can be explained by the spare tire mount. Is this why there is not one on the drivers side? Thanks in advance.

    You Are Correct there is not one on the drives side

    I guess it may depend on the year of manufacture. My 80 CJ-5 has the support on both sides.

    That support is for the side mount spare tire mount.
