distributor cap clips

    Does anyone have a source to buy the spring clips that hold the distributor cap on? I have a 1963 F-134 with a Prestolite distributor 1AY 1101 tag on it. I have searched the usual Jeep parts places with no luck.

    I went to a junk yard and used the clips off of a Ford.

    You might try the www.g503.com site and do a search. There was a kit being sold this year by one of the vendors for rebuilding the old distributors.
    The owner of the site, Ron Fitzpatrick, would be a good place to start. He has a business that sells NOS and repro parts for old jeeps.
