I recently installed a p/b booster/master cyl unit on my 61 cj5. The jeep it came off of had disc brakes. Is it necessary to install a drum type m/c?

You can either install a drum MC or run a 10lb. Wilwood residual valve in the line to the front and rear brakes. Drum brake mc keep about 10 lbs. of pressure in the line so the brake shoes are just barely off the drums. Disc brakes only keep 2 lbs. of pressure in the line. Clear as mud?? ;)

Huh... Dutch had the power setup from an '85 CJ7, and I didn't run any valves. Always had alot of pedal, nice and firm.

I replaced the MC though, and dont recall for sure what I bought. Seems like it was whatever the '85 called for.
