t98 to f-head

    greetings from afghanistan! has anyone out there put a t98 to a f-head engine? i have a t98 4wd setup from a scout and a t98 2wd also from a scout. just dreaming up things to do to my jeep when i get home. thanks!

    What year is the scout? IF it is early i can see they might have the t98, but the later scouts had T19. And as of now there are no adapters available for the T98 to Fhead except for the jeep factory options. And they can be hard to find. With enough $$$ an adapter could be made.

    The Scout T-98 will have the correct output shaft and adapter but the input and front bearing retainer will be incorrect. You would still need to find the correct input, front bearing retainer, adapter, and the case may be different as well.
