I've given up finding seat brackets for my 74 tub. I'm going to fabricate some. Is anyone willing to do a drawing and provide some measurements? Doesn't have to be fancy. Thanks.

I just found a pair off of a 74 CJ5. They're a bit boogered up at this point, but I'm going to clean them up. I'll post some pics and a dimensioned drawing when I get a chance.

I too am currently redoing my seat brackets...... I purchased some smittybuilt XRC seats (4wd.com @ 20% off) and some CJ7 sliders. I plan to cut approx 3 inches out of the wheel well and box it with scrap sheeet metal, and build new braces for both seats as low as I can go to fit the added 1.5 inch sliders. The new seats are deeper and need more calf room, but they have 5 point harness slots and I ordered them mastercraft. I was originally going to build the braces with a single bar from drivers side rocker to passenger rocker but changed the idea with the addition of an E-brake between the two seats. I will take some pics this weekend and post them.

Just finished installing new seats with custom seat brackets, sliders, and 3inch cutouts in the wheel wells for more leg room. Also built shoulder restraint harness mounting bar for mastercraft 5 point restraints. Thanks to Ben Varrozza for his great fabrication work.

Thats a 75? Nice job on the seats. I am gonna do something similar someday, and never thought of removing the under seat tool bin.
