If this is the long, about 4" wide strip of rubber that seals the windshield it's fairly easy to replace.....in theory. Just flip the windshield forward and the rubber is held in place by a series of phillips head screws and washers. However, the screws are usually rusted darn near in two. As soon as you torque them with a screwdriver, the head usually twists off the screw. It's a 5 minute job that usually takes about 10 times too long cause you gotta fix the screws.

Hey guys, does anyone know of a better option for this rubber seal than the omix or crown product? Mine basically rotted out a short time after I bought it, and I've lived with it for a long time. Are there any solutions that people have come up with that have lasted?
